The Story

Having travelled back to England, Lord Voldemort plans to return to power undercover and using Harry Potter to do so. However, these plans are dampened when his symbol, the Dark Mark, appears in the sky at the Quidditch World Cup and those who had fought Lord Voldemort before are alerted.
Back at Hogwarts, the Triwizard Tournament is to take place over the course of the year: a magical competition between one representative of each of the three participating schools. Despite not having entered his name and not being old enough, Harry is chosen to participate as the fourth Champion by the Goblet of Fire.
When, for the Third Task, the Champions have to find the Triwizard Cup in the middle of a maze where the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher has hidden it, they come to realise that winning the Tournament does not lead to the promised “eternal glory”…

Rupert’s character

Always being overshadowed by his brothers and best friends and dreaming about some recognition for himself, Ron is deeply hurt when Harry appears to have tricked the Goblet into selecting him to participate in the Triwizard Tournament. Ron only forgives his friend when he realises just how dangerous the Tournament’s tasks are.
Ron is enchanted by the beautiful French girl Fleur Delacour, but his attempts to ask her to be his date fail. When he learns that Hermione Granger is attending the school ball with his former Quidditch idol Viktor Krum, Ron accuses her of “fraternizing with the enemy”…
