The Story
Back at his aunt’s and uncle’s house, Harry Potter is cut off from the wizarding world – until house elf Dobby appears to warn him not to return to Hogwarts, and until Ron Weasley and his brothers Fred and George rescue Harry from his Muggle relatives and take him to their home, the Burrow.
After missing the train to school due to Dobby’s interference, Harry and Ron return to Hogwarts in Mr. Weasley’s flying Ford Anglia. Soon, the caretaker’s cat is found petrified next to a message written in blood: “The Chamber of Secrets has been opened. Enemies of the heir beware”, and Harry is quickly suspected of being behind the subsequent attacks on students. Just when Harry and his friends seem to have solved the mystery about the Chamber of Secrets, Ron’s sister Ginny is being taken into Chamber…
Rupert’s character
After rescuing Harry Potter from the Dursleys and flying to school in his father’s Ford Anglia, Ron becomes aware that his friends are in danger: Harry of being the rumoured heir of Slytherin and Hermione of being a possible victim. Helping them to uncover the truth about the mysterious Chamber of Secrets, he has to overcome his greatest fear when entering the spiders’ lair in the Forbidden Forest with Harry.
Trivia Information
The set for Flourish and Blotts is a redress of the set that served as Olivander’s Wand Shop in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
While chatting with the Grangers at the bookshop, Mr. Weasley says, “I understand that other muggles are afraid of you.” This makes little sense unless you know that both Hermione’s parents are muggle dentists.
The Weasleys’ car registration number is 7990 TD.
When Ron grabs his wand before crashing the car into the Whomping Willow, he takes it from behind the sunblend.
When running up the second bout of stairs (after dropping off the trunks), Harry takes three and Ron only two steps. On the next, longer staircase, Ron skips two steps, and on the last one, Ron skips one step.
As Ron tries to repair his broken wand with s(p)ellotape, it is somewhat straight. In later scenes, it has an obvious angle at the point where it is broken.
When the Quidditch teams meet before training, Hermione’s and Ron’s hair is windswept, while everyone else’s is in perfect place.
When Ron lands on his back after his backfiring slug spell, it is visible that he is wearing a belt.
Ron is the first of the trio to notice the reflection of the writing on the wall.

At the Christmas feast, Harry and Ron put down their goblets at the same time when the camera zooms in.
At the Christmas feast, Hermione arrives with a plate full of food and leaves without eating anything after talking about the final plans for the Polyjuice Potion.
Above the mantelpiece in the Slytherin common room is a skull in a glass case.
Ron says “Bloody hell” five times throughout the film; he says the line when he has just been turned into Crabbe by Polyjuice Potion, and repeats it three times to try and change his voice to sound like Crabbe.
