The Story

In 1907, a young Adolf Hitler dreams of becoming a famous painter and applies to the prestigious Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, where he struggles to gain recognition among his peers.

Rupert’s character

Rupert plays August (Gustl) Kubizek, Hitler’s friend, who is an art student in Vienna and, in contrast to his friend, easily gets along with the people he meets.
